Residential Plumbing Services & Repairs
Not Sure If You Need a Plumber? We've Got You Covered.
Whether you're a first-time homeowner or you've lived in your house for decades, it's not always obvious when a plumbing issue needs a professional — or when it can wait. At Brad Tanck Plumbing, we get that question all the time, and the answer is almost always: when in doubt, give us a call.
We're here for the big jobs and the small ones. No issue is too minor for our team, and catching small problems early is almost always cheaper than waiting until they become big ones.
If you're experiencing any of the following, don't wait — reach out to our team. We can typically have someone out to assess the issue within a week, with most work scheduled within two weeks.
Leaking or Dripping Faucets - A slow drip might seem harmless, but it can waste hundreds of gallons of water and quietly drive up your utility bill. We'll diagnose and fix it fast.
Running or Malfunctioning Toilets - If your toilet won't stop running, won't flush properly, or is leaking at the base, it's time to call. These issues almost always get worse — and more expensive — the longer they're ignored.
Tub & Shower Faucet Problems - Faucets that won't shut off, won't turn on, or aren't operating correctly are a job for a licensed plumber. We work with all major brands including Kohler, Moen, Delta, and American Standard.
Water Heater Issues - Not getting hot water, or noticing strange noises coming from your water heater? We install and service Bradford White tank systems and Navien tankless water heaters and can get your hot water back up and running.
Water Treatment Equipment - If your water softener, filtration system, or reverse osmosis unit isn't functioning properly, we can assess and service it. We work with Hellenbrand, Proflo H2O, and Water Right systems.
Sump Pump Concerns - Especially during spring thaw and heavy rain season, a failing sump pump can mean a flooded basement fast. If you're unsure whether your sump pump is functioning correctly — or if you don't have a battery backup system yet — give us a call before it becomes an emergency.
Outdoor Faucet Replacement & Frozen Pipes - In Wisconsin's harsh winters, outdoor faucets freeze. If yours does, call us right away — don't wait for spring. If there's water behind a frozen faucet and it thaws undetected, it can cause serious damage inside your walls. We'll cut it off safely and replace it correctly.
Residential Backflow Protection - Many municipalities require backflow prevention devices on outdoor faucets and certain fixtures. If your municipality flags a backflow issue, we'll come out, assess it, and install the right solution to bring you into compliance.

What to Expect When You Call
When Should You Call a Plumber
vs. a Handyman?
Great question — and one we hear all the time. A good rule of thumb: if it involves water supply lines, fixtures, valves, water heaters, water treatment equipment, or anything connected to your home's plumbing system, call a licensed plumber. A handyman can handle plenty of things around the house, but licensed plumbing work protects your home, your warranty, and your safety.
If you're ever unsure, just call us. We're happy to talk it through.
